capypaper is experimental software for leveraged trading with real money. You can lose your whole margin within seconds. Only use amounts you can afford to lose.
1. What capypaper is
capypaper is an independent interface for trading perpetual futures on Papertrade (exchange.papertrade.xyz). It is not affiliated with Papertrade or Hyperliquid. capypaper is not a broker, exchange or financial adviser, and nothing on it is investment advice. Your funds and positions stay in your own Papertrade account; capypaper never holds them.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 and allowed to trade leveraged derivatives where you live. You are responsible for following your local laws and for any taxes.
3. Your wallet and session key
Connecting your wallet signs a registration that lets a capypaper session key open and close positions on your Papertrade account for 30 days. It cannot withdraw or move your funds; that always needs your own wallet. capypaper stores this key encrypted on its servers so it can place the orders you ask for. Disconnecting deletes capypaper's copy. The key stays registered on Papertrade until it expires, unless you revoke it there from your wallet.
4. Trading risks
- Leverage. capypaper allows up to 1000×. At high leverage a tiny price move liquidates the position and you lose its margin. The liquidation prices capypaper shows are estimates.
- No price guarantee. Every order, including conditional orders, take profit and stop loss, executes at market. Fills can be worse than the price you saw or set, and a stop loss can lose the race to liquidation.
- Orders can fail. Outages, stale prices, an expired session or a rejection by Papertrade can stop an order from being sent or filled. When an order's outcome is unclear, capypaper shows it as unknown and never retries it automatically, so check your account before trying again.
- One-click actions. Dragging take profit or stop loss on the chart saves it when you release, and closing a position closes all of it at market.
- Coin flip. "Flip a coin" opens a real position, long or short at random.
- Profit and loss shown in capypaper are estimates; Papertrade's records are what count.
5. Conditional orders and the background service
Conditional orders, take profit and stop loss are watched by capypaper, not held by Papertrade. Normally they fire only while capypaper is open in your browser. If you tick "Run with this tab closed", a background service also checks them and places them with your session key while the page is closed. That service can be delayed or down, so an order may fire late or not at all. Orders with an expiry stop waiting when it passes.
6. Chat and usernames
Chat messages and usernames are visible to other signed-in users. No harassment, impersonation, scams, spam, illegal content or promotions. capypaper may remove messages or usernames and block access that breaks these rules.
7. Credits, copy fees and payouts
Credit deposits are not enabled, and copy trading is not available yet. You can save a copy fee and a payout address in Settings, but nothing is charged or paid out. These terms will be updated before any of that goes live.
8. Software "as is"
capypaper is provided as is, without warranties. It has not been audited, may contain bugs, and may change, pause or stop at any time.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, capypaper is not liable for trading losses or for losses caused by bugs, outages, Papertrade, Hyperliquid, blockchain networks or other third parties. This doesn't limit liability that can't be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence.
10. Changes and law
These terms may change; the date at the top shows the latest version, and using capypaper after a change means you accept it. Swiss law applies, without limiting consumer protection that your own country's law gives you. See also the Privacy Policy.
